The National Film Board of Canada, Industry Pictures and Shine Films present the award-winning documentary, Invisible City. Directed by Oscar nominee Hubert Davis, the film traces three years in the challenging lives of two teenage boys living in Canada’s largest social housing project, Regent Park in Toronto. The documentary showcases the work of Pathways to Education, a United Way Toronto partnership.

Be part of this event and learn more about leadership in the volunteer sector! What makes a good leader? How do you identify and develop the next leader? What are some skills and qualities that a leader must have?
At this year’s conference, delegates will participate in an interactive learning exercise which will provide participants with the opportunity to engage in dialogue and share their knowledge and experience on issues that volunteer leaders face day-to-day. After the conference, participants will receive the summary of the findings of this exercise, which should be a valuable resource and have a positive impact on their job performance.
