Speed Mentoring Helped Me Too

by Jennifer Charlebois-Robillard 3. November 2009 10:16

On October 6th a group of GenNexters from Scotiabank participated as volunteers in a speed mentoring session at ACCES Employment Services.

Volunteering at ACCES helped me re-evaluate where I am and what I'm doing at Scotiabank. Contributing to new immigrants made me feel good about their futures within financial institutions and helped me realize whyScotiabank is great place to start.

I feel speed mentoring at ACCES has taught me a lot about myself and my career, while also letting me experience what it’s like coming from another country . I was glad to be able to assist, recommend, and share my knowledge from working at Scotiabank, and am proud to say that I am a Scotiabank employee!
