JVS Toronto, at Sheppard/Victoria Park, seeks One-On-One Mentors to offer newcomers an introduction to Canadian workplace culture/industry trends and provide them with support and information in areas such as job search strategies, professional licensing, credential and education requirements, professional language and terminology, networking creation and assistance.
Time Committment: Meet for approx 1 hour/week
Skills Requirements:
- Mentors must be age 21+
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge/experience in fields including: Insurance, Financial Services, Administration, Human Resources, IT, Sales/Marketing, Legal, Teaching, Healthcare, etc.
