JobDescription:
- Arrive at 4:30 PM and report to Hannah Oladepo OR Rene Adams
- Assist with setting up tables and chairs for the event
- Assist in organizing and setting up food and beverages at serving tables
- Warmup food if requested in the Perth Hall Kitchen
- Serve food as requested
- Clean dishes as instructed
- Serve food to community members in attendance
- Assist in serving beverages as instructed.
- Assist with table and chair clearing as instructed at the end of the event.
- Assist with general clean up duties (sweeping, gathering garbage)
- Performs other tasks as assigned by the leadership of the church
Basic Qualifications:
- An interest in working with the public
- Must be comfortable in social situations
- Comfortable working in an religious setting
- Reliabilityis a must
- Comfortable handling cash and cash-handling experience an asset
- Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks
- Able to understand basic health and safety principals
- Food preparation experience is an asset
- Ability to communicate in standard English. (may also be a great chance for someonetaking
- ESL to practice their English skills in a public setting)
- Ability to communicate in Spanish/English or Portuguese/English an asset
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to the situation as needed
